The CPS Team Shines At NASP 2023 Annual Meeting & Expo

CPS’s health system specialty pharmacy experts led at NASP 2023 Annual Meeting & Expo: 11 clinical outcomes posters, 8 podium presentations, 2 top awards, and 1 refreshed CPS brand.

DUBLIN, Ohio, Sept. 25, 2023 – It was a banner week for CPS Solutions, LLC (“CPS”), and the entire health system specialty pharmacy (HSSP) community at NASP 2023 Annual Meeting & Expo (NASP).

The CPS team earned two of NASP's marquee awards — Pharmacist of the Year and Best Poster. CPS also headlined 8 podium sessions, presented 11 clinical outcomes studies, and debuted a fresh new brand identity.

Highlights from the show included:

1. Introducing the new CPS brand. The HSSP community met CPS’s new brand and visual identity at NASP. The new brand unifies CPS and its legacy companies, including Azina, Trellis Rx, and Therigy. Today, CPS is the industry’s most comprehensive pharmacy partner in the market, and the updated look-and-feel reflects its commitment to care excellence.
   
   
2. Presenting (a record!) 11 clinical outcomes posters and 8 podium sessions. CPS’s Clinical Outcomes Program continues to earn well-deserved recognition for advancing HSSP clinical practice. This year, the CPS team presented nearly a dozen clinical outcomes posters, the most at NASP this year. 
   

   Additionally, Drs. Casey Fitzpatrick, Megan Rees, Carly Giavatto, Ana Lopez-Medina, and Jessica Mourani nabbed NASP’s “Best Poster Award" for research showing how HSSPs improve oncology costs.

   The poster's lead author, Dr. Fitzpatrick said: "I’m honored to be able to showcase the great work that our pharmacists and liaisons are doing. Without them, this project would not have been possible.” See the poster here.
   
   

3. CPS’s Megan Rees, PharmD, BCACP, wins esteemed “Pharmacist of the Year” Award. Dr. Rees took NASP’s highest honor at this year’s show, winning the esteemed “Pharmacist of the Year” award for her HSSP excellence. The award recognizes Dr. Rees’s outstanding contributions to HSSP practice and dedication to her teams and patients. It's also testament to the life-changing support CPS's HSSP teams offer specialty patients and those living with complex or chronic conditions.

4. Collaborating with specialty pharmacy’s best and brightest to advance HSSP practice. CPS’s experts covered a range of topics throughout the week - from health equity to HSSP careers to what's ahead in the pipeline.
