Therigy’s winning scientific poster at the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy Annual Meeting demonstrates the power of technology-enabled support of specialty drug patients.
On September 26, 2018, Therigy’s Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), Lily Duong, PharmD, RPh, and Khang Tran, PharmD, were awarded first place in the “Delivery of Specialty Pharmacy Products or Services” category for their scientific poster presentation at NASP’s 2018 Annual Meeting. Therigy’s winning scientific poster sought to demonstrate the power of technology-enabled support in the clinical management of specialty drug patients by specialty pharmacists.
“We are very excited to have this work recognized by NASP, an organization that is aligned with the mission of elevating the practice of specialty pharmacy and improving outcomes for patients,” said Therigy CCO, Lily Duong, PharmD, RPh. Dr. Duong went on to say “Therigy’s mission and goal is to support advances in the delivery of high quality, consistent patient care, where validated real-world evidence quantifies the value of specialty drugs and patient management, proves the value of pharmacy services, fuels quality initiatives, and helps shape the future of the industry as a whole.”
The poster presentation entitled “Technology-Enabled Specialty Pharmacy Utilization of the Routine Assessment of Patient Index Data 3 (RAPID3) to Monitor and Enhance Outcomes of Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) Patients,” demonstrated the role Therigy’s flagship software - TherigySTM™ - and a study group of Therigy pharmacy customers played in enabling pharmacists to monitor RA disease activity, augment RA patients’ care plans and better comply with national care guidelines.
