Union Health Wins MMIT's 2024 Specialty Pharmacy Patient Choice Awards

CPS specialty pharmacy client, Union Health, receives the country's best patient satisfaction scores in the award's hospital and health system category.

 

Congratulations to our client, Union Health! Their health system specialty pharmacy (HSSP) is this year's Specialty Pharmacy Patient Choice Award winner! 

 

Presented by Managed Markets Insight & Technology (MMIT), the award recognizes the top pharmacies across the nation providing the best customer satisfaction and overall patient care within four categories: Payor/PBM, Hospital and Health System, Independent, and Retail Pharmacy. Union Health earned the industry's best patient satisfaction and Net Promoter scores (NPS) in the Hospital and Health System category. 

 

MMIT announced the winners during a celebration for honorees at Asembia's AXS24 Specialty Pharmacy Summit in Las Vegas, on Monday, April 29, 2024.

It is an honor to be nominated and know that we are the best in class at providing exceptional care to our patients which is reflected in our patient satisfaction scores.

The Specialty Pharmacy Patient Choice Award is given to the organizations delivering the best patient experience across HSSP settings. MMIT selects finalists and winners based on each HSSP's NPS in the Zitter Insights Specialty Pharmacy Patient Satisfaction Survey. NPS is a cross-industry standardized index ranging from -100 to 100 measuring the willingness of customers to recommend a company's products or services to others. Union Health earned a 97.7 NPS score in this year's survey. 

 

Kathy continued: "Our staff works diligently to take care of our patients from the initial introduction and making that connection to prior auth, financial assistance, counseling, meds in hand, and everything in between. We pride ourselves in building that trust and relationship with our patients, family members, and caregivers. Not only do we have outstanding patient satisfaction scores, but we also have exceptional provider NPS scores, which allows us to deliver a great patient experience from start to finish for our patients due to the collaboration between clinic and pharmacy staff.

 

 

CPS HSSPs Continue to Earn Top Marks for Patient and Provider Satisfaction

 

CPS's specialty pharmacy clients continue to deliver exceptional support for patients and care teams, resulting in industry-leading patient satisfaction and NPS scores. This is the third year in a row that a CPS client has been honored as an MMIT Specialty Pharmacy Patient Choice Award finalist. Two CPS clients were finalists for this year's award in the hospital category: Union Health and Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS). In 2022, CPS client Parkview Health won the Specialty Pharmacy Patient Choice Award in the Hospital & Health System Category. 

 

Additionally, all CPS HSSPs consistently earn high patient satisfaction scores for exceptional patient experience. Together, our specialty managed clients have achieved a 94 NPS in MMIT's latest Specialty Pharmacy Patient Satisfaction Survey. CPS' score was higher than the industry standard, and the highest NPS score by specialty pharmacy type, surpassing even other hospital and health system-based specialty pharmacies.
