A new clinical outcomes study from CPS' health system specialty pharmacy (HSSP) network reveals that HSSPs are adept at filling care gaps during transitional periods.
The CPS team will present the findings from the "Health System Specialty Pharmacy: Ensuring Continuity of Care During Provider Transitions" study at the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP)'s 2024 Annual Meeting, April 15-18, 2024, in New Orleans.

Dr. Giavatto recently emphasized the impact of the study's findings: "Transitional periods can lead to therapy gaps like medication non-compliance and disease progression. HSSPs, with their unique services, can be the solution. The findings underscore the importance of HSSP involvement in specialty patient care."
